60th Anniversary of the Dharma Centre
In Commemoration of Namgyal Rinpoche
We are honoured to mark a very special milestone: the 60th anniversary of the Dharma Centre of Canada, together with the observance of Namgyal Rinpoche’s Memorial Day.
Since its founding in 1966 under the inspiration and guidance of Namgyal Rinpoche, the Dharma Centre has served as a place of practice, refuge, and service. For six decades, the Centre has been sustained by the vision of its founders and the dedication of countless teachers, practitioners, volunteers, and supporters. Through changing times, together we have kept the flame of the Dharma alive.
This anniversary is not only a celebration of years passed, but a moment of reflection and gratitude — for the teachings transmitted, the lives touched, and the community that continues to grow. As we honour Rinpoche’s legacy, we reaffirm our shared commitment to cultivating wisdom, compassion, and awakening for the benefit of all beings.
We warmly invite our community to join us in commemorating 60 years of practice, service, and spiritual friendship. More details about the program and schedule will be shared soon.
Whether you have practiced here for many years or feel newly connected to the Centre, your presence is part of this living lineage. We hope you will join us — in person or in spirit — as we dedicate the merit of this occasion to the flourishing of the Dharma and the well-being of all beings.
