Of all the meditations, that on death was/is considered supreme by all of the enlightened. Why? It is only through understanding death and impermanence that we can understand energy and how to use it to transform our lives. Through focusing and reflecting on themes regarding death we are able to discover the truth behind all appearances and attain a deep peace, joy and compassionate certainty that is deathless and transcendent. This is retreat is open to all who are interested in engaging in these themes and reflections, and is suitable for beginners and experienced meditators.
Karma Chime Wongmo began studying with Namgyal Rinpoche in 1968 and has been teaching Dharma since 1975.
